AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY
Bonjour and welcome to Your Evening Class in the box.
My name is Bernard Grosz. I was born in the small town of Denain in the North of France and grew up in Lourches and then in the village of Neuville – sur – Escaut.
I moved to Birmingham in 1990 and started teaching at University College Birmingham (formerly known as Birmingham College of Food, Tourism & Creative Studies), Birmingham University and at the Brasshouse Language Centre.
Over the last 18 years, I have taught French to adults of all ages, from 16 to well above 80, from beginners to advanced levels.
In 2003, I published my first course book: Access French – A first language course (Hodder & Stoughton) followed in 2005 by Access 2 – An Intermediate course (Hodder Arnold).
Today, I am Deputy Head of Languages at the Brasshouse Language Centre in Birmingham and still tremendously enjoy teaching French to adults.
I hope you’ll enjoy learning with me.
Bonne chance et bon courage!
Bernard
